Basil Fawlty in Fawlty Towers

Fawlty Towers is considered amongs the best of this genre of British humour. This quote is from an episode where a group of Germans visits the hotel, and Basil, played by John Cleese, gets over sensitive, saying "Don't mention the war" at every opportunity. Then, when they get into an argument over something trivial, one of the Germans accuses Basil of starting the argument, to which he replies with the above quote.
